Naturally active and competitive, Aikane discovered a deeper connection to fitness during his time in the military, where he was introduced to weightlifting and the importance of understanding the “why” behind every movement. “The military taught me that fitness isn’t just about strength, but also about purpose, discipline, and mental clarity,” Aikane explains. What Aikane loves most about his job is bringing positive energy to every session and becoming the highlight of his clients’ day. “Even when working out isn’t their favorite part of the day, I want to make it something they look forward to. Fitness has been my outlet, my stress reliever, and my moment of clarity, and I want others to experience that same feeling,” he shares. Fitness has deeply shaped Aikane’s life, teaching him discipline, confidence, and resilience. Natalie’s path into fitness began from a place of vulnerability. “I didn’t grow up loving how I looked,” she shares. “When I first started my fitness journey, I was scared and intimidated by the gym. Natalie understands how overwhelming starting out can feel, and she’s dedicated to being a support system for others. Whether they’re beginners or seasoned gym-goers. “My goal is to help people overcome those doubts, feel confident in their space, and know they’re never alone in the process,” she says. What Natalie loves most about her job is forming genuine connections with members and witnessing their transformations. “Seeing someone walk in for the first time, feeling unsure or intimidated, and then slowly grow in confidence and strength. That’s by far the most rewarding part of what I do,” she explains. Natalie recognizes that many people entering the gym for the first time struggle with self-doubt or worry about doing things “right.” To ease those fears, she focuses on education, encouragement, and accessibility. “We work hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable, guided, and supported. No matter their starting point,” she explains.
