HIIT classes (aka FORM30) are available at the following locations:
HIIT classes are a great option if you want to get fit without spending hours in the gym.
You’ll be guided by a coach and train with a supportive group.
Anyone can join our HIIT classes, no matter your fitness level. If you’re new to exercise, we’ll help you learn the movements and adjust the intensity so you can train safely and see results.
If you’ve been training for a while, our coaches will show you more challenging alternatives. Everyone gets a great workout, whether it’s your first class or your hundredth.
HIIT classes are part of every HiTone Fitness membership, so you can book a class whenever it suits you and attend as often as you like.
There are no additional class fees, and you’re never limited by how many sessions you can join.
Your membership also includes access to a variety of other group fitness classes, including strength training, cycling, yoga, stretch, and core.
Yes, HIIT can help you build muscle. While it isn’t as effective for muscle growth as traditional weightlifting or bodyweight training, our HIIT workouts include exercises that challenge different muscle groups. If you are a beginner, you may notice improvements in both muscle tone and muscle growth. If you are already fit, you are more likely to notice better muscle definition and tone as you lose body fat.
About 1 hour before your HIIT workout, eat fast-digesting carbohydrates along with a small amount of protein. Good options include a few rice cakes with a little honey and high-protein Greek yogurt, or a banana with high-protein Greek yogurt. Fast-digesting carbohydrates provide the energy you need to perform your best during your workout.
HIIT workouts at HiTONE Fitness are 30 minutes. Long enough to cover the warm-up, cooldown, and an effective workout, but short enough that everyone can fit them into their routine.
After your HIIT workout, aim to eat protein and carbohydrates within 30 to 120 minutes. Fast-digesting carbohydrates like bananas, rice, sweet potatoes, or rice cakes are great choices because they help replenish your energy stores. Pair them with the protein source of your choice.
For most people, doing HIIT 1 to 3 times per week is enough. If you also do strength training or other types of exercise, stay closer to 1 or 2 HIIT sessions each week. If HIIT is your main form of training, you can do it 3 or even 4 times per week, as long as you feel well recovered between workouts.
